Payra Port Authority has officially launched a cloud-based accounting application software, marking a significant milestone in the Authority’s financial digital transformation. The new system has been developed and implemented by ADDIE Soft Ltd. to modernize billing, revenue collection, and payroll management through a single, integrated digital platform.

The grand launch ceremony was inaugurated by Rear Admiral Masud Iqbal, Chairman of Payra Port Authority, who formally unveiled the system by cutting the ceremonial cake in the presence of senior officials of the Authority and representatives from ADDIE Soft Ltd.

End-to-End Financial Automation

The newly deployed application enables Payra Port Authority to generate invoices against services provided to shipping agents and various clients, collect bills directly through the system, and automatically post transactions to the Chart of Accounts. This ensures real-time financial visibility, improved accuracy, and stronger internal control mechanisms. In addition to billing and revenue collection, payroll management is also handled through the same platform, bringing core financial operations under one unified system.

Secure, Scalable, and Cloud-Ready

Designed as a secure, cloud-based solution, the application supports centralized reporting, role-based access, and scalability to accommodate future operational growth. By replacing manual and fragmented processes, the system is expected to enhance efficiency, transparency, and data-driven financial decision-making across departments.

Launch Ceremony and Participation

Senior officials from Payra Port Authority attending the ceremony included Md. Harunor Rashid (Additional Secretary), Member (Admin & Finance); Commodore Md. Abdul Latif, Member (Engineering & Development); and Md. Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan (Assistant Secretary), Director of Board, along with Deputy Directors from the MIS, Marine, and Traffic departments.

ADDIE Soft Ltd. was represented at the launch ceremony by Md. Rezwan Ali, Director of Operations; Muhammad Niyamat Ullah, Project Manager; Md. Tajul Islam Sakib, Key Account Manager; and Md.
