Project Overview

ADDIE Soft partnered with the Department of Shipping to design and implement a Maritime Single Window system to digitize and streamline maritime operations in Bangladesh. Manual, paper-based workflows and fragmented data exchange caused delays and inefficiencies. The MSW platform unified all maritime stakeholders into a single digital environment, enabling faster clearance, improved compliance, and real-time operational visibility.

Challenges

Manual workflows, data silos, and regulatory complexity slowed maritime operations and compliance.

  • Paper-Based Processes: Manual documentation caused delays and errors.

  • Fragmented Stakeholder Systems: Data silos reduced transparency and coordination.

  • Regulatory Complexity: Compliance processes were slow and inconsistent.

  • Lack of Real-Time Information: Delayed data affected planning and decision-making.

  • Security & Access Risks: Limited controls increased operational vulnerability.
