Project Overview

ERHAP is a national digital initiative by the Ministry of Religious Affairs to promote tolerance, interfaith understanding, and social cohesion across Bangladesh. The project delivers verified, inclusive religious information through a unified digital ecosystem combining web, mobile apps, AI assistance, and citizen engagement tools. It enables MoRA to communicate proactively, address concerns faster, and expand awareness programs with measurable reach.

Challenges

MoRA needed a trusted, scalable digital approach to reduce misinformation, improve outreach, and enable real time citizen support across the country.

  • Misinformation at Scale: Unverified content spread quickly online, increasing confusion and social tension.

  • No Trusted Central Platform: Citizens lacked one verified source for religious guidance and official updates.

  • Limited Digital Reach: Ministry communication tools struggled to effectively reach rural and remote audiences.

  • Low Engagement & Feedback Loop: No structured channel existed for citizen interaction, surveys, or community dialogue.

  • Grievance Tracking Gaps: Complaints were difficult to manage with clear workflows, accountability, and status visibility.

  • Minimal Performance Visibility: Measuring sentiment, outreach impact, and engagement trends was inconsistent and manual.
